For this optimistic and ambitious Londoner 2013 has been full of amazingness so far. He is one of the most well known faces of the UK Nepalese community. Not hesitant of crowds ever since he overcame his fear of stage as a little 4th grader while reciting the poem “The Wind” in Nepal. In his own words he enthuses, 'I can never forget that glorious moment of victory over my fear I had. I was very proud when I was off that stage.
He deadpans in the mischievous tone and his ever-joking ways giving him a likeable factor. The 25-year-old professional b-boy dancer says dancing has been with him since he was born and seeing him move anyone would believe he was born to dance. He is so passionate about dancing that no one ever needs to ask, before you know it Sexy Shishi will be in the dance floor moving and shaking his body. He says he owes his first girlfriend who dumped him for inspiring his poetic side. 'Sounds very thrilling but I thank her everyday for being there as an angel to guide me in poetic heaven and staying in my poems forever' So the heart broken started writing and his dramatic and expressive ways of reciting his poems inspired by love, betrayal, agony and loneliness captures the audience in. Along the way his guru 'Daya Ram Panta dai' taught him styles of delivering his lyrical words.
If he is not dancing or pouring his words out then Sexy Shishi is out sharing happiness through his ability to act. He is the super star of Parchahood if you haven’t seen him in action yet then check out Parcha Productions youtube channel. It will have you in stitches of laughter. 'Future beholds nothing, so I live for today' He laughs drily when I ask about his future. He believes in creating opportunities if it isn’t already there nonetheless the future looks golden for him. Sexy Shishi’s priority now is making Parcha Productions upcoming Nepathya’s live concert at the world’s renowned Wembley arena the biggest musical Nepali history.
UPDATE: the concert was a huge success with over 6000 attendees.
